Galactica Video with simple effects using Premiere Pro 2.0 Titler
Of course, this is a fan film for the new Battlestar Galactica. It is also a homage to Darren Williams’ 2004 Pentagon Strike flash video.
Everything was done in Premiere Pro 2.0 in about 4 days time, as opposed to the 4 weeks it originally took him in flash – of course the software was much different then, and I just layed down his track and recreated the “reimaged” version and I used video instead of just images.
Besides the exact music soundtrack, the only other mirrored portion is the movie theater crowd. Everything else was duplicated using mostly the track matte key, color key, hue adjustments, and the titler (all with many nested sequences).
Anyways, it was fun to make, and I learned a lot about Premiere; especially, the export settings for web. Just thought I’d share.

You did a great job. There was just as much truth in yours as there was in his. But yours was a lot more imaginative.
