I’d like to pick up a second G5 for FCP playback of a Decklink SP Card to do 8 bit video playback of single stream video and audio (no overlays, maybe a dissolve here or there). What is the minimum system I need using FCP 5?

Can I get away with one Hard Drive (of say 250 Gigs) and play back from that?
Is 1 Gig of Ram going to work? Or do I need 2 gigs.
Is a Radeon 9600 ok for running 2 screens of about 1024 X 768 each?

    Am I forgetting anything?

Thanks for any thoughts anyone might have.

I would at least us a FW800 unit like the G-RAID for 8bit playback, not a single internal drive.

2GB RAM minimum, stock graphics card is fine.

    Dual 2.0 is fine.
