  • G5 detects broadcast monitor as TV (Decklink Pro PCIe via SDI)

It’s probably completely a newbie question:

I have a new G5 with a dual screen setup (2×20” LCDs) and an LCD broadcast monitor connected via HD-SDI port. When I switch to finder the Mac detects the broadcast monitor as TV and extends desktop to that monitor (when I go back to FCP6 or AE CS3 it goes back to broadcast monitor). I went to Leopard Display preferences, but I can’t see an option of disabling the 3rd display as TV, it’s really annoying ! How do I disable it ? Please help ! Thanks,

    Jen

    Hi Jennifer,

The option is in the DeckLink preferences.
