On the verge of upgrading to OS XP64 in hopes PremPro2.0 could take advantage of XP64’s memory features, I’m glad I talked with an Adobe tech guy today. He suggested that since PPro2.0 is still a 32-bit app, there would be no wisdom in trying to make it work with XP64. In fact, he suggested one would likely encounter problems. He also indicated that since they don’t yet support XP64, they could not help with any 64-bit OS-related problems. Asked if there was any possibility Adobe might release a 64-bit update prior to release of the next upgrade, he was not certain, but thought it was unlikely.

Has anybody (with a lot of time on their hands) running an XP64 OS experimented with PremPro 2.0 or a version of After Effects?
