FYI: HD Monitoring with DeckLink Pro-DVI!
If anyone was looking into this low-cost HD monitor option I must say it works. At least for me.
I needed another HD Monitor and figured it was worth a try.I wasn’t expecting it to be this easy and look so good. I had to pull in the $3500 17″Panasonic HD monitor to check it out. Sat+Lum are a tad off… nut I’m not sure which monitor was off because I didn’t bring in the scopes.
In any case: 1080×1920 HD monitoring on a 22′ for under $600, esp. a second system is way worth it. (roughly $470 for DeckLink and $150 monitor) Although it said LCD or HDMI I had an LED around so I tried it and it worked. Only drawback is viewing SD. It will auto convert (faster than Panasonic but the quality is a bit shabby)
