  FW800 Recommodations

  I am running a FW400 external on a 4 gig ram, MacBookPro (2.6Ghz). FCP & motion are pretty slow at times and am wondering if it is the ext. drive data through-put is the bottle neck (ALL media, capture scratch, etc is on the ext. drive).

  I would appreciate and feedback as well as recommendations to buy a FW800 external drive.
