Hey all! I have a quick question. On my last few FW captures (DVCPRO) the audio has been fairly consistently out of sync by about 5 frames. Now I have been simply adjusting them in order to sync up but I don’t think I should have to do this. Is there any reason that this should or could be happening and more importantly how can I fix it? Thanks in advance!

How are you monitoring audio? Do you have a frame offset in System Settings>Playback Control? How full is the drive?

Thank you for the reply. I have a 1TB FW800 drive attached that has over 200 gigs left on it. I am monitoring with the digital out of my G5 tower. I just pulled up the system settings and it does say “Frame Offset 4”. I have never adjusted that setting before. I am assuming that is where the problem is coming from? Is it alright to switch that to “0”? Thanks again!
