Best I can find is DVDA will not do transitions between menus or from buttons to content (other than instant jumps). I’ve found a couple of references to creating jpegs of menus and adding to the content to give the illusion of smooth transitions. All this said, just wondering if the next version of DVDA will give us transitions between menus, smooth fades from buttons to content, maybe even fading in of buttons at loop points of background media? Any thoughts on this?

Those that do know can’t say (non-disclosure agreement).
The rest of us will have to wait until the release of Vegas 7/DVDA 4 in September 🙁

Yeah, I know. Just looking for speculation I guess as I work on my latest DVD and am frustrated at the workaround process of smoothing out these transitions. I’m going to guess Sony has included these changes, otherwise they’ll be falling behind the curve!
