heh… On more than a few occasions when I was mixing someone would request a change, I’d hit replay to match levels for the punch (no console automation in my room at the time), roll through it and before I could start playback to make the change I’d get the “great!” comment.
I’d only tell them I hadn’t done anything if I liked them. 🙂

July 26, 2014 at 10:12 pmThe times I’ve done it were exactly as Charlie mentioned below. You play over the edit a few times for whatever reason just to get your bearings or whatnot and then the producer yells “perfect!”
