FSC2 – files randomly going offline after render
I’m on a MacBookPro 17″, with the new FCS 2. Working pretty well, motion is a hog, but pretty smooth so far.
One issue is that sometimes after I render, my media will go offline (complete with red line through icon), causing me to reconnect, then re-render.
I’m working in the dvcpro hd 1080i60 easy set up.Any thoughts?
Its driving me nuts.

What are you using as the scratch disk? Is it other than your startup disk (it should be) and is it formatted Mac OS Extended? If not reformat it… (understand this will erase the drive).
Another problem may be your installation. If it wasn’t done cleanly (i.e. a total rebuild of your startup disk) I’d suggest you try that.
It’s not a “bug” per se because if it was we’d all have the problem… which we don’t.
