  FS700 Syncroscan Problems

  I was recently on shoot where I had to film against a backlit screen. The set up was using two EX3’s and an FS700. On all cameras the backlit screen was causing strobing. I was able to remove the strobing on the EX3s using the ECS feature (extended clearscan), however, on the FS700 there was no such feature. I was only able to go from 60Hz to 50Hz, neither of which was getting rid of the strobing. In the end we had to turn the screens off as there was no way we could film with the amount of strobing going on.

  I would like to know if anyone has any suggestions as to how to overcome this on the FS700 as I can see this problem presenting itself again and again in the future,
