No. This is my spare. This doesn’t have the DV option. It is a QX P6000. You can upgrade it to an XR for $495 through Boris. My board has Lossless & DV.

So no, I have more scruples than to sell a broken board. I’m just getting out of Media 100 all together as I guess they still don’t care about the end user.

Wow, thanks everyone for all the info and suggestions. My next move, I think, would be to uninstall Quicktime 7.1.6… though I have to admit that I’m not sure how to do this. I tried going back but got a little lost and only created a little mess. Quicktime is a little different from most other types of software installs, as far as I can tell, in terms of where the files are kept and maintained. Quite sheepishly, I ask if anyone knows the step-by-step to taking out QT 7.1.6 and reinstalling the previous version I had, 7.0.1?
I freely admit to being quite dense about this sort of thing.
