    Ello all!

Please help, I’m having playback delays now of upto two seconds while playing back mixed frame size red media in a 25p blackmagic 8bit 1080 timeline. Has anyone else found or solved this? There is no delay on scrubbing, only playback. Audio is set to mac line out. Debayer/Quality often set to 1/4.

    SPEC:
    12 core 2.93Ghz system (10.8.4)
    24gb Ram 1333mhz
    2gb NVidia GTX 680 – Slot 1
Blackmagic Decklink HD Exteme 3D+ – Slot 4 (running 9.7.7 Desktop Video)
    Premiere Pro CC V7.0.1 (105)
4 port SATA card (uncertain of make/model)

3 x Stardom 4bay crates connected via esata
Each with 4 x 3tb WD Red drives in Raid 5 config totalling 27tb space

    What do you think?

Have you tried it without the BlackMagic card?

My thought would be that the decode/debayer combined with the conversion for the card might require more buffering…?

What happens if you try to preview render the timeline? (Not as a permanent solution, but a test…)
