Frustrated over getting right format for website
I’m working on a video project for a website. The website designers have been very vague about what format they need and while I’ve worked in television video production for years… producing video for the internet is very new to me.
I was originally converting my video into an mv2 format and was told the files were too big. So I reconverted everything into mp4 files after the designers said they could make that format work. I used the default settings. Now they are telling me they aren’t happy with the quality of the video. I’ve got 260 individual 2-3 minutes video files. When I looked into using the Broadband-High conversion mp4, it took about an hour and a half to convert just one file. I also tried the Streaming-Medium conversion which took about 35 minutes. Both of these did produce better quality, but it will take me weeks to get all of the files converted.
Any ideas on a quicker way to get better quality? Or do I need to upgrade my hard drive in order to get faster conversion rates.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
