(Front) Dimensions of LENS HOOD for LEICA DICOMAR
I’m working on a product design prototype for, amongst other cameras, the Panasonic HVX-series. I have the lens hoods for a number of other cameras but not this one. All I need is the (outer) height and width in millimeters of the front of the lens hood. Thanks very much!

The lens hood material is fairly soft and flexible so it’s difficult to get an extremely accurate measurement, but it looks like 100mm X 145mm. (Outer dimension measured at the front center of each axis).

Kirk, thank you so much for taking the trouble to perform that measurement. We are developing a product (which, unfortunately I can’t yet discuss) that, in addition to being quite unique, we believe will be very useful for small-to-medium size video HD camera production. Thanks again!
