From Sony EX1R to Apple Cinema Tools

If you rewrap to .mov using XDCAM Transfer or Content Browser, Cinema Tools will take the .movs. You do not need to go to ProRes.

When I convert in XD CAM Browser to .mov I have an .xml file for every clip
It’s possible to have only the .mov file?

yes, go to the Preferences and de-select ‘Create XML’ in the FCP tab

I have an old version of XD CAM Browser (1.3)
Under “Preferences” and “FCP” tab I can see only
Media Name
Title 1
Clip List Name (Subclip)
What can I do?

Upgrade to Content Browser. The UI and workflow are more or less the same. (XDCAM Browser was rolled into Content Browser when we opened the application up to XAVC and AVCHD.)

Is your system will support v 1.1 you can download and install for free. If you require v2 there is a 20.00 software key required.

I can’t because I need to stay with Mac OSX 10.6.8 to have Cinema Tools
and Content Browser need another version
There are some problems to import directly the .mov files in Cinema Tools (temporal removal)
If I convert the same .mov files to ProRes I have no problems in Cinema Tools
