  from FCP to broadcast on HD satelite

  Dear all,

  I have a query regarding delivery to broadcast on an HD channel on satelite.

  This is what they have sent me-

  We are using Harris Transmission servers, your imported material will be broadcasted on (“*.lxf” MPEG2 50 mbps, 4:2:2, 4 “audio channels 16bit”), it is recommended for the imported files to be (“*.lxf” and the format to be MPEG2 and four audio channels)

  first question – 16 bit is that really HD?

  second question – can i export this straight from fcp or do i need special software?
