Hi all, first of all sorry for my bad english… 😉

I have a big Avid Project in a computer and I need to import a lot of quicktime references of this project in another computer with AE installed. Do you think it’s possible to do that just copying the avid’s project folders in an external hard disk? Is there a better way?

Exporting from avid is a 2 long process and I want to know if there is another “time-saving” way…

    Thank you, Stussi ^__^

That would only work if you had all of the same footage digitized on the other system with AE. You could use Media Mover (You can download a free demo, or buy it for $150 and it’s absolutely worth it) to transport the Media Files to the external hard drive, or try consolidating but I don’t know if that would take less time than exporting a self contained quicktime file.

For me it’s important to not lose video quality. Do I lose something with a “same as project” quicktime export? (footage is DV)

    Thank you!
