From AE to Premiere Best Render Settings / worflow
Hi everyone,,,
Quick question…
I tried adobe bridge and I basically hate it, maybe I don’t know how to use it or what, but I rather go old school. Rendering my videos from AE to Premiere….the question is – I don’t want to lose quality when I render out to premiere…. What is the best codec you suggest for this? I have been doing photojpg but now I wonder if there is a better codec,,, or should I just go uncompress?

Yes, dynamic link is great and there is no loss of quality. It’s very easy to use as well once you learn how it works. It’s especially useful if you expect to make changes to the AE comps. If you do want to just render out your AE comps and import into Premiere, the Quicktime animation codec is virtually lossless and creates smaller files than totally uncompressed video, plus it supports an alpha channel. It’s what most people use for rendering graphics, including myself.
