Free tool to find holes in image sequences + gather exif stats
Don’t you hate it when After Effects tells you “3 missing frames” but not which frames? Yea, I do too. That’s why I wrote this tool for checking time-lapse and render-farm sequences for missing frames.
I’ve now uploaded the project to SourceForge and have been adding new features to it, specifically for time-lapse projects, such as basic EXIF statistics (e.g. min/max exposure time, f-stop, ISO, etc) and finally RAW image support.
Download it here:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/imgseqscan/Still lots more to come. Check out the Feature Tracker for what’s in the queue. Also please feel free to add your own ideas / bugs to the list (or post/mail them on here).
p.s. sorry it’s only for Windows users (already getting complaints) …but it does work over the network e.g. \\PCNAME\dir
p.p.s. Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 or higher is required to run this. If you get some strange errors when starting, that’s probably why. Apologies.
