Free Repicator Plug?
I’m working on a project where I would like to take the logo in .png format and replicate it so it appears to be raining in the background at different z depths. I’ve heard of this being possible in one of trapcode’s plugs. But I wasn’t sure if there is either:
A: A plug in AE that can do it
B: A free plug that I don’t know about
C: A better way of putting it together in AE that won’t turn my project into molasses on a cold day :o)
D: If it’s possible in the FCP suite?Thanks for any help.

I know you can do this using almost any particle emmiter. Try using CC Particle World, CC Particle Ststems 2,or Particle Playground which are all included with AE and try playing with gravity settings and what not.
