  • FrameStore not working on Workgroup VideoHub 2.1

We recently installed our Workgroup Videohub, so far it’s been terrific. No real complaints, but a couple of minor issues:

    1) I can’t seem to get the frame store to read any of the images i put in to “FrameStore” folder.
We’re running our host system with Windows XP sp2 but most of our clients are Mac OS X.
I’ve built various test-patterns in the appropriate dimensions, i’ve tried saving them as tiffs, bmp, picts and photoshop documents.
Non seems to be recognized by the software… is there some step to importing them that I’m missing?

    2) Of the two red lights next to the USB port, we’ve got one (the one closest to the port) that keeps blinking. If we cycle power and don’t start the host system immediately it seems to stay solid for a time. But eventually starts to blink again. Does this mean anything we should be worried about?

We’ve also got a couple of feature requests:

    1) It would be great if we could do an Anamorphic down-conversion. I realize an edge crop would probably require quite a bit more processing, but the anamorphic should be do-able.

    2) (and this has been touched on before) It would be great if we could put multiple VideoHubs on the same host. We’ve already run out of space on ours and would definitely be inclined to add more.

    3) I’m not sure if this is an issue with the windows client software or the host computer. But on our host systems (running windows xp) the lock option is very difficult to see. On the mac clients when something is locked the pull down window becomes gray and in accessible. It would really help if the windows client (our host system) did the same thing.
