  • Framelink – creating QT from a cineon sequence – can we get rid of the file size limit?

Trying to convert 250GB worth of cineon files into a QT by copying the cineons into a framelink QT container…

Only problem is that the container seems to only havearound 180GB or so free… so it keeps running out of space, even though I have 3 TB free ont he drive it is going to.

any way to get around this aside from creating multiple QTs?

I had the same problem. It seems that it has nothing to to with the free disc space at your destination. I changed my internal system hardrive to a 500GB one and since then I was able to create QTs over 200GB. Check it out. regards Carsten

thx, good to know there is a solution. Still think it’s kind of silly though – wonder if the team at BM can fix this…
