August 23, 2006 at 4:42 pmThe big question here is what is your output from Premiere going to be?
If you’re going to output to DV, DVD, or other standard video formats, use the 720×480 frame sizes and scale the clip up to cover the whole frame.
If you’re planning to output back to 320×240 for the web or iPod or other computer-based formats, you can customize your project settings. In the New Project dialog, click the Custom Settings tab. Set the Editing Mode to desktop, then you can change the Frame Size dimensions. Also change the Pixel Aspect Ratio to Square Pixels (unless for some very bizarre reason you have a non-square pixel 320×240 clip).

September 23, 2006 at 3:21 pmHello, I have a problem related:
What can I do if I’ve finished my project in 720×480 and now I realized that I need to have a 320×240?My original clips are 320×240 and this problem creates a black frame around the clips.
Can I change the settings without repeating all the project?
Is there any option to export/move all the edited clips (or timeline) to a new project with new settings?A lot of thanks and sorry for my possible english mistakes.
