    Hello ,
I think I can remember ther is a way to change the frame rate on a layer but not in the composition. my aim is to give a “stop motion” aspect to a video. Do you have any idea ?

there are two ways i can think of:

    1. precomp the animated layer(s) and set the comp settings (for the new precomp) to the desired framerate and then check the option in the advanced comp settings for preserve framerate when nested.

    2. precomp the animated layer(s) and apply the posterized time effect and set the frame rate in the effect to the desired frame rate.

note, if the layer is a video layer, you can just use the posterize time effect without precomping.

as a side note, posterize time as an expression in cs4 does not appear to work as it did previously in cs3.
