  • Frame link – QT to DPX = GREAT, am I suppose to be able to do it the other way round?

    As above…

    Has anyone done this before?

I found that if I do a QT to DPX, open the dpx file in the “virtual drive” and edit/save it back, it is reflected in the QT…

but if I replace the file with another file or create a NEW empty QT file via frame link and put DPXs in them, it doesn’t work…

If i replace the mounted drive full with DPX files, the frame when viewing the QT will be black or no change.

If I create a empty QT (clicking on framelink and setting the specs -IE 1920×1080 etc) then drag DPXs into the the new QT file (mounted as a drive), the files copy over, but the QT does not reflect the change – it is still 8MB/1 frame of nothing.

DPXs are created output via shake

I have tried 1920×1080 files and 1920×156 files none work…

    Anything I should know?
