fractal noise filter?
anyone know if there is an equivalent to AE’s Fractal Noise filter for Motion?
I have tried to set my 3rd party plugin folder to the AE folder containing the filter but it doesn’t show up in Motion.

Heya,
AE’s native plugins can’t be loaded by other applications (Adobe does a runtime check to see if the host app is AE). Third-party ones will work, though.
Have you tried Motion’s Clouds generator? It seems to be turbulence/fractal-based.
