Fractal Noise Effect in AE 6.5
It appears as though the Fractal Noise effect is not in AE version 6.5…why did they drop it from v6.5? I’ve come across numerous tutorials that use the effect in earlier versions of AE (John Dickinson, Ayato, etc) but obviously can’t follow along. Can I purchase the effect from Adobe? If not, what can I do?

They moved it to Noise & Grain -> Fractal Noise

That must be in the Professional version…I have Standard. Is there any way for me to purxhase that effect for the Standard bundle?

No, you can’t get this effect separately. I believe in AE 7 they moved some of the effects in the Standard version and Fractal noise must be one of them. So upgrading would probably be the easiest way to obtain this effect. Many other effects bundles also have their own flavor of Fractal noise effects, but since the usually are more expensive than your version of AE, it doesn’t seem feasible.
