Just wondering how the speed ramps in this video are done. Speed ramps aren’t so hard, but when you have to do it to a beat, I’d thin it’s become more difficult. Would they have to be planned out in advance with the music slowing down to an appropriate rate? Any other hints for someone that might want to try something like this?

    Thanks for any help.

i believe this was filmed in a green screen environment and composited together.
i also believe that this was ground solid editing work. brilliant edit.
see the drops in the beginning to music. think they´ve done them in post too.
there are cuts inbetween the moves, so i do not believe that it was too hard to achieve that “speed ramp” effect which is not, parts of the particular scenes have been cutted und sped up.

you can do this in AVID and FCP too.

but anyway: good music, good video.

    cheers
