formatting credits
I’m trying to create scrolling credits for a program that I’m working on, but I’m having some trouble with the formatting. When I copy and paste the text in from MS Word, the text doesn’t wrap to the next line once it’s gone beyond title safe. Is there a way to tell FCP to do that without needing to strategically place carriage returns between words? If there’s no way to do it in Final Cut, anyone know if it can be done in LiveType?

Avoid using the “native” Titler(s) in FCP for just about anything important.
Use “Title Crawl” (its included with FCP) for rolling credits.
For non-rolling titles, use “Title 3D”.
