  Format suggestions

  We’re sending off the master tapes (HDCAM with material shot at 1080 23.98) to a post house to do 4 channel audio sync, and they will send us back the material on a hard drive with the metadata applied and ready to edit.

  The question is, ideally, what format is easiest to use and preview out of the IO HD? I was initially thinking 1080p24 (23.98) with DVCPRO HD compression because the files will be smaller. Are there any issues anyone can see with this?

  Any additional insight would be great.
