Format P2 on laptop
Sorry if this has been covered. I did a search and couldn’t turn up the answer.
I want to format P2 cards on the laptop instead of in the camera (if the camera is still rolling on the next card).
Current workflow:
1) Copy over card contents to FW drive
2) L&T copied folder into FCP
3) Format card in HVX.A link to a P2 utility turned up a dead-end on the Panasonic site.
Just looking for the forum’s advice on the best workflow, way to format P2 card on laptop before returning card to the camera operator.

On a Mac?
If so, download the mac drivers and you will find an application in there called P2 Formatter.
