    I recently shot part of a project on a HPX-2700 using the settings from my previous day of shooting on a different project.

    The setup in error was:

    System Mode: 1080/59.94i
    Record Mode: DVCPROHD/60i
    Camera Mode: 24P (not advanced pulldown)

    The setup should have been:

    System mode: 720/59.94p
    Record Mode: DVCPROHD/24PN

    We’ve been trying a few different settings using Media Manager and Compressor to convert the 1080 material to 720 but the result always has jittery motion. I assume it is a problem with the way that the compressor is interpreting the 2:3 pulldown on the 1080 material.

    Question: Is there a way to convert the 1080/59.94i (24P with 2:3 pulldown over 60i) material to a 720 24PN format?

    I just discovered Raylight MXFX. It seems to be doing exactly what I need.
