  • Foreign language problem in Photoshop

    Hey,

My company is creating a sign language dvd for use with multiple languages. We had our script translated into multiple languages such as Mandarin, Cantonese, Russian, Portugese, and Arabic. I’m having a problem copying the characters for Mandarin, Cantonese and Arabic into Photoshop CS3 extended. I’m copying from TextEdit and Pages in a MAC and certain characters a coming up as boxes with x’s in them. Does anyone know of a preference that needs to be on or a downloadable plugin that will make photoshop accept these language characters? Short of buying language specific versions of photoshop. Any help would be great.

    Thanks
    Jason
