Force Render and Automatic Pitch Correction.

Nope…no pitch shift in FCP…sorry. Have to fix that in audio editing apps like ProTools or Logic or Soundtrack pro. Yeah…bummer. I miss that from my Avid too.

October 26, 2010 at 5:42 amUm… Audio Filters -> Apple -> AUPitch. It’s not “automatic” (you gotta’ add it manually) but it does the job just fine.

October 28, 2010 at 10:52 pmsorry…that takes too long. dont have time to fiddle with pitch. gotta get it done and move on. thats how i’m doing it now but i need a faster way. outta luck i guess. there’s gotta be an easy plug-in.

October 29, 2010 at 10:17 pmYou could build a series of pre-pitch-corrected audio effects and just drop them on your fit-to-filled clips. Takes a bit of time ahead of time, but could make your life easier. At one facility I work for regularly I’ve set up something along these lines and use it every time I’m there.

For a number of things I’d rather be working on a smoke, too, but all budgets (including my own) have limitations.
