Force AE CC to refresh the cache on preview?
Sorry if this has an obvious answer – I’ve been searching to no avail!
Sometimes AE CC decides a layer hasn’t changed (even though it has!) and the green bar stays there. This happens to me a lot when a precomp contains a Particular layer. I tweak Particular, and even preview the updates inside of the pre-comp, but in the outer comp nothing changes cause AE doesn’t notice I did anything and doesn’t update the cached frames.
Is there a way to force it to refresh, besides doing silly things like clearing the entire cache or changing render resolutions?

Purging the cache is the only way I know that works all the time.
