    Hi Matt,
I know your the technical guy at Zax’s palce–and you have helped me before. I building an animation that I think has an error that I tryingto fix. But I can’t find out whats causing it.

I have two tracks, one is static and one rotates. The only way I found to get it rotate correctly is the way I’ve programed it.

    Here it is.

At about 2 sec and 18 frames the rotating element FLIPS and then after a frame or two goes back and finishes correctly.

It’s like it rubber bands incorrectly and fixes itself. I’d really like to use Pro Animator for this project—BUT I CAN’T if this is going to happen. Can you take a look and advise me.

Another question Matt. Is there a way to alter the anchor point of a grouped set of objects? I can do this in After Effects—but I’m not sure about Pro Animator.

    Hi Jay.

We currently don’t allow you to modify the anchor point of groups.

I’m looking at your project now.

    Hi Jay.

You’re seeing the results of gimbal flip,
which happens when you animate from -180 degrees
to 170 degrees. The two angles look very similar,
but transitioning from one to another is causing the flip.

A workaround is to not have a transition, but to rather
just put a single frame Pose that sets the Z rotation to
175 degrees for each of your objects. This simulates
    the transition you’re looking for.

There are other ways to get your animation to work,
rather than the frame-by-frame approach you’ve taken.

If you could send me your original .ai file, I can quickly
mock up a scene that will rotate your objects in a
circle. You can learn from that.
