footage switches between 16:9 and 4:3
I’m working on a project, and I exported the final video from FCP via Compressor in .m2v and two audio files (maybe .aiff and .ac3). The file is widescreen, I can pull it up in QT and it plays in 16:9. I imported it to iDVD and played the preview, and it is in 4:3 with grey bars on the sides. The project is set to widescreen, and all of the menus are widescreen.
Any ideas?

iDVD can’t accept MPEG files from Compressor. You need to export it as a reference movie that uses “current settings”…. file/export/QT movie… Import that file into iDVD for the encode and burn.
