Footage skipping while capturing into FCP
I’m trying to capture footage into my FCP. It usually works just fine, but now it is skipping numerous frames (having a strobe-like effect). The tape is running smoothly on the viewer on my digital videocassette recorder but skipping on the Log and Capture viewer in FCP. I know it is not the DV tapes I am using as this is now happening with an older DV tape that I captured and used just fine. Please help! My project is due immediately!

And the scratch drive you are capturing to is?
How full is it?
