    Hi,

When I export my footage some of the clips are greyed out, or washed out. I have a feeling it is due to the frame rate of those clips being different from the rest. The project is set for 23.976. The clips that are grey are 29.97. This has happened on both our editing systems, so I don’t think it’s a codec issue.

    Has anyone else experienced this?

    Thanks,

    Jeremy

Always set your project the same as your footage. Export to another format.

It makes no sense that you cannot have footage at different frame rates on the same timeline. It completely defeats the purpose of overcranking your footage when filming. I did export it as an avi and it worked – the footage was not washed out.

I suspect Premier has a bug with footage at different frame rates and the quicktime codec.

    Thanks for your help.
