  • Footage goes out of sync after creating multi camera track

    Hi there guys!

I’ve got a bit over 60min of footage filmed by 3 different cameras which I’ve successfully synced together by adjusting their size just a little bit (only a few frames difference).

2 angles were filmed in 1080p @ 50fps (same format-similar cameras-not the same camera though) and for the third angle I’ve used a GoPro @ 25fps (also filmed in 1920×180).

Now the weird thing is when I create a multi camera track only the GoPro angle goes out of sync again.

Does anyone know what’s causing this to happen?

I’m using Sony Vegas 12.0 (build 394) on Windows 7.

How are you doing the sync? Are you simply sliding a track to match a significant action or sound on each track? Are you stretching or shrinking (CTRL-Drag) a track to match end points?
