I’m working on a project that necessitates the mixing of footage from a DSLR and an HVX200a. Is it possible to do a multi-cam edit with footage from these two different sources?
    Thank you!

    No.
All the stuff must have the same specs.

Convert both to ProRes with the exact same frame dimensions. This might be tricky as the HVX shoots DVCPRO HD and that it anamorphic. Just make sure that you choose the proper dimensions in Compressor to convert them.
