    Hi there,

Today I was asked to cut some footage together with Premiere Pro of an interview, when checking the footage before import all the video looked good with no effects added, however once I’d imported it a strange effect seemed to be applied, almost a double exposure effect. I exported the footage and the error remained. I have not applied any effects to the video so I am not sure what has caused this, have I missed something or is it something corrupt with the original video? Just for background, I’m normally a graphic designer so I’m a bit of a Premiere amateur so apologies if this is a simple fix.

    Here are some screenshot examples

Thank you for any help you can provide

Select the clip that has the issue, and make sure the blend mode is set to “normal” the in the effects conrol panel.

What are the specs of your original footage? File type, codec, fps… and did you import directly or go through Media Browser to import?
