December 29, 2013 at 9:09 pmDownload and install the Alexa AMA plugin. Then access the footage via AMA. Then transcode.

December 29, 2013 at 10:38 pmThe only ArriRAW plug-in I know if is the one from GlueTools at:
https://www.gluetools.com/downloads_avid_arriraw.htmlI don’t believe Arri ever made an AMA plug-in for Media Composer for RAW files, only for MXF/DNxHD recorded files on the Arri Alexa. If you don’t want to do it directly in Media Composer, you can make DNxHD in DaVinci Resolve for free with the Lite version.

December 30, 2013 at 5:44 pmSorry for the bad advice. I thought Avid dealt with Alexa raw footage via AMA. My mistake.

December 30, 2013 at 5:49 pmEasy one to make as there was a RAW plug-in available, but was for Avid DS and by extension MetaFuze. So there was one for AVID, just not for Media Composer or Symphony.
