    Hi everyone!

I’m pretty new to AE and have been using it to add some basic effects to a music video I’m editing, and I’ve hit a bit of a snag. Basically, I’m trying to make it look like some of my footage is behind a piece of curved glass, or I guess to be more accurate, that the subject in my footage is trapped inside of something resembling a glass jar.

My initial instinct is to take a photo of a glass jar, use it as some sort of overlay, and then distort the footage so that it curves towards the edges, but I’m not exactly sure what tools to use to get it to look right, or if this is even the best approach. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks so much,
    Brett

Thanks so much for your help, Dave! I’ll give that a try.
