Font Size for Titles for screening in commercial movie theater
My documentary will be screening as part of a film festival in a commercial movie theater.
I’m concerned that the title cards, lower thirds and end credits (single card and scrolling) that I
created in Final Cut Pro 6 will look too big on a movie theater sized screen.I can later re-size the titles for tv, streaming, dvd, distribution if I’m lucky enough to need to do that.
After searching some forums my questions are:
Any recommended font sizes for title cards, lower thirds, end credits (scrolling and single cards)?
Is it okay to boldface the font selected or will that create problems?
Is it the best practice to include 10% gray in the title versus 100% white? If so, how do I achieve
this in Final Cut Pro 6?Thanks for your help!
