The subject line says it all.
I’m using Avid Xpress DV 3.5 & Boris Red 3.04.
The font looks great in Red but when it “apply” it to my host, Avid, then render it, it looks jagged and not “vector” like.

    Hi,

Are you sure that the font was installed correctly? Sometimes if the screen font is installed and the printer font is not, or not in the right place, this will be the result.

Does the font render correctly when you use it in the RED standalone render engine?

Is the problem isolated to this font or does this happen with any font?

    Thanks,

    Peter.

    Hi Peter…
Regarding your first question about “is the font installed correctly…” I don’t know what you mean.

    Thanks…

    Peter…
I just realized that even the text I’m creating in Avid looks jagged. I think I had this problem once before but I can’t find my notes on what was going on. Any ideas now…?

    Hi K,

Hmmm … not exactly sure how to fix that. I’ll ask around though and if someone here knows what to do I’ll pass that info along.

    Cheers,

    Peter.
