  • Font issue when exporting pdfs

    Hi,

Im using In design on windows 7, and when I export a pdf of the document the fonts seem to look fine, yet when I print it, some of the characters are replaced with weird symbols. The font im using is ‘kalinga’. I thought it might be something to do with font settings for the export but there is no option to change them when exporting a pdf. Do I just need to use an alternative font? If anyone could shed any light on this problem it would be much appreciated!

    Thanks,

    James : )

I don’t know anything about that particular font, but you could convert your text to outlines before printing. (You probably want to either do a “save as…” or not save the document at all, as the text will not be editable after you convert to outlines.)
