Follow-up question to Tape Output
The Tape Output option is just seeming too impossible.
So, I’ve revisited the whole “Copy anamorphic timeline to 4:3 timeline / Export to Quicktime Movie / import into iDVD” option to make the master myself.
My curiosity question is:
Before, the estimate for just copying the timeline to 4:3 sequence and rendering that was 14 hours. At that time, I was opening a new sequence, assigning it as 4:3, and then dragging the old sequence from the browser into that timeline.
Now for kicks I tried just copying the whole timeline from the anamorphic sequence, and pasting them into the 4:3 sequence. Time estimate = much less.
What’s the logic here? Just curious. I bet I’m creating a problem for myself on the whole Quicktime Movie export – more likely to snag when exporting from a MULTI-clip timeline rather than from a sequence that has just one unified clip with one video track and two audio tracks.
Thank you!
