Follow Along Text Video
I am new to FCP, want to make spoken word video-book, where viewers will be able to listen to a reading and follow it along on a screen. I want the text to get highlighted where it’s being pronounced, and pages scrolling up on the screen to get to next page or getting flipped. I have audio already recorded and text in .doc or pdf format. Is FCP the right program to do it? or do i need any other program in addition to FCP?
I could not figure out a way where text gets highlighted with audio. Any help would be really appreciated.

I don’t believe there is an AUTO way to do this. There is a glow filter in FCP you can apply to a line of text. You can create another layer and have a box on it that has a color to it. Animate the box over each line of text. Depending on the length of this book, you could be looking at a lot of work.
